The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Vuk Jeremić,  is making a working visit to Poland on July 2 at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Radosław Sikorki. Their talks will focus on Serbia’s aspirations to EU membership and the process of European integration in the Western Balkans. Other topics include bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

        On May 29 Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski gave a press conference at the MFA devoted to Polish development assistance in 2009. The event was attended by the coordinators of selected  projects implemented around the world.

        On June 26-27 Minister Radosław Sikorski attended an extended meeting of G8 foreign ministers in Trieste, devoted to Afghanistan and the Regional Dimension (“The International Community Support to the Regional Dimension – Promoting Regional Integrated Approach to Peace and Security through Economic and Social Development”).

        On 24-26 June 2009, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, visited the Kingdom of Morocco. Minister Sikorski met the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Taieb Fassi Fihri.

        A three-day meeting of the Regional Group of Operational Experts of the Kraków Initiative (PSI) ended in Sopot on 24 June 2009. It was attended by over 150 participants from 38 European countries, the main non-European participants, as well as the European Union and NATO.

        Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski  met in Warsaw with visiting British Secretary of State for Commonwealth and Foreign Affairs David Miliband. The talks focused on bilateral relations. Other items on the agenda included Eastern policy, security policy and economic issues.

        On June 21 the stadium of the Military University of Technology (WAT) in Warsaw was the venue of a  picnic for diplomats and their families. The event, organized by Diplomatic Protocol of the MFA, was attended by over 1500 persons, including MFA staff and representatives of more than 30 diplomatic missions.

        On June 17 2009 the foreign ministers of Poland and Germany, Radosław Sikorski and Frank-Walter Steinmeier,  paid a working visit to Kiev.
