• Faithful to my Homeland, the Republic of Poland

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been careful to note any distortions of history that undermine the good name of Poland. Since 2004, Polish diplomacy has been reacting to offensive and false public statements about “Polish concentration camps/Polish death camps” appearing abroad, especially in the media. The MFA regularly monitors foreign media reports with a view to over 20 derogatory phrases and, when necessary, intervenes through its diplomatic posts, demanding corrections and the use of the proper expression:

German (Nazi) concentration/extermination camp in occupied Poland

    or alternatively:

German (Nazi) concentration camp/extermination camp in the territory of German-occupied Poland”.
